Robert W. Minto, Jr.
Bob has served as President and CEO and Director of ALPS Corporation since 1987. He also serves as President and CEO of Attorneys Liability Protection Society, Inc., A Risk Retention Group. Bob received his B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1969 and his J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 1973. He served as an Associate, a Principal, and Of Counsel with the law firm of Worden Thane & Haines in Missoula, Montana. He has been a member of the State Bar of Montana and the American Bar Association since 1973. Bob serves on the State Bar of Montana Lawyers Fund for Client Protection; the State Bar of Montana Law Practice Management Committee; and the Montana Justice Foundation. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI), formerly the Alliance of American Insurers. He speaks and publishes nationally on a variety of subjects including the future of the legal profession, bars and professional liability insurance, legal ethics and assorted practice management related topics.

Mark Bassingthwaighte

Mark is the Risk Management Coordinator with the Attorneys Liability Protection Society, Inc., a Risk Retention Group, in Missoula, Montana. Currently Mr. Bassingthwaighte’s responsibilities include developing and delivering new risk management and CLE products and services, risk management training, team development and publishing the company’s e-newsletter, the ALPS Risk Management Report. In his tenure with the company, Mr. Bassingthwaighte has conducted over 700 law firm risk management assessment visits, presented numerous continuing legal education seminars throughout the United States and written extensively on risk management. Mr. Bassingthwaighte received his J.D. from Drake University Law School. Prior to joining ALPS, he practiced with the firm of Patterson & Bassingthwaighte as a general practitioner with emphasis in estate planning, taxation, contracts and business formations.

Chris Newbold
Chris Newbold
Chris is Vice President of ALPS and Director of Bar Relations for the ALPS Enterprise Marketing Group. Chris joined ALPS in 2002 as the first Executive Director of ALPS Foundation Services. He is the author of "The Complete Guide to Bar Foundations," an authoritative resource manual for bar foundation leaders nationwide. Before joining ALPS, Chris served as a law clerk for the Hon. Terry N. Trieweiler of the Montana Supreme Court. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of Montana in 2001.

Jordan Lind
Jordan Lind
Jordan joined ALPS in 2002 and is Vice President of Client Services. He provides direct management and oversight of the ALPS Enterprise Marketing group that consists of sales, brand management and client support. Prior to joining ALPS, Jordan spent several years in the financial services industry after which he initiated a successful entrepreneurial start-up. He received his B.A. degree from The University of Montana in 1998 and his MBA magna cum laude from the same institution in 2004.

Kim McKelvey
Kim McKelvey
Kim is the Executive Director of ALPS Foundation Services. Kim consults with bar foundations and associations throughout the United States and Canada. Her consulting services include strategic, operational, business, and development planning, meeting facilitation, grantwriting, fundraising, and foundation administration.

Kim is a member of the Montana State Bar and the Federal Bar. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Iowa in 1992 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Montana in 1997. Prior to joining ALPS, Kim fundraised, wrote grants, and provided direct services for three nonprofit organizations. Kim served as co-Editor-in-Chief for the Montana Law Review at the University of Montana School of Law, where she graduated with Honors in 2007.
