Kate Cortright
Kate spent five memorable years in the great state of Alaska and returned to Montana to attend Montana State University in Bozeman. After one semester she realized her heart belonged in Missoula, so she completed her BA in Human Biology at The University of Montana in 2003. Kate joined ALPS in 2004 and has since been enjoying all the adventure Western Montana has to offer.

Traci Hofer
Traci joined ALPS in November of 2000. In 2002 she moved into Sales and has since received her Certificate in General Insurance and Producer’s License in Property, Casualty and Surety. She continues to work as an ALPS Sales Representative with an emphasis in both New and Renewal business.

Lawrence King
Lawrence joined ALPS in March of 2005. He is a Washington, DC native who has called Missoula home since 1994. Lawrence likes to spend time with wife and three sons, coaching Little League, youth football and playing golf.

John Nicoll
John has over 16 years experience in lawyers’ professional liability insurance and has been with ALPS since March of 2002. Prior to coming to ALPS he owned his own retail photography store and worked for an independent insurance agency. John grew up in Richmond and graduated from Hampden-Sydney College. He and his family enjoy traveling in the western part of the United States, which means he always looks forward to visiting ALPS home office in Missoula.

Julie Patterson
Julie joined ALPS in 1997 and is our team’s lead producer for new business sales. Prior to handling new accounts Julie was part of the Renewal Customer Service team for our existing book of business. Julie has an outstanding commitment to customer service, which many consider to be one of ALPS greatest assets.

Mark Rabe
Mark has been with ALPS since 2005 and truly enjoys hearing from and meeting ALPS insureds from across the country. He has a B.A. in Business Management from The University of Montana (Go Griz!). His hobbies include running (slowly) and golfing (poorly).

Dana Smolinski
Dana is a Missoula, Montana native and has been with ALPS since 2000. She enjoys spending time with her spouse, who is laboratory tech at Community Medical Center. She has four children who are very involved in softball, basketball, motocross and golf. She spends much of her free time traveling the Northwest attending their numerous events. Dana also still plays softball, against her orthopedic surgeon’s advice.

Jessica Walrath
Jessica is a graduate of The University of Montana with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management. She also received her MBA from The U of M. Jessica is a Montana native who recently returned after three years in the ALPS Richmond, VA office. She will return to Virginia a few times in the fall as she coordinates the ALPS CLE tour. Jessica enjoys the outdoors and discovered a new found appreciation for the ocean and beach while out East.

Shawnda White
Shawnda has over ten years of customer relations and marketing experience. She has been a member of the ALPS team since August 2002. From previous employment experiences and education, she has acquired problem solving, leadership and communication skills. Her understanding and commitment to customers’ needs has enabled her to excel as an ALPS Sales Representative.

Chrissy Pinner
Chrissy is a Montana native, who obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Communication (with an emphasis in business and marketing) from Montana State University in Bozeman. She spent some time living out-of-state, but she and her husband knew Montana was home and moved back to Missoula. She joined ALPS in 2003, bringing a long history of sales, marketing and customer service experience with her. She enjoys traveling and spending time in the great outdoors with her family.

Keith Fichtner
Keith has 10 years sales experience and has been with ALPS since May of 2008. He has a B.A. in Business Marketing and a minor in Communications from the University of Montana. Keith is a Montana native with vast sales experience including three years in South Florida and countless hours of travel, which has led him to 44 out of 50 U.S. States. Keith resides in Missoula with his wife and two small children. He enjoys the outdoors especially camping and fly fishing along with hobbies such as basketball and golf. Keith is also a avid fan of the Montana Grizzlies, Duke Blue Devil basketball, and the Chicago Cubs.
